Virtu - Art has been created for the purpose of Promoting the Art + Craft of South West Cork. It has been handbuilt by Karin and Tony Smith. Virtu - Art brings to you a source of information about the arts and crafts of South West Cork in the form of articles, and links pages which can be accessed via the side bars.

Virtu - art has a map of the South West Cork area which we hope to cover. Information gathering will be ongoing. We are a major resource for artists, art students, art shoppers and people who just want to know what's going on here in this very special place.

If you are an artist and have web presence just send an email Subject Header: Feedback - New Link with URL we will do the rest. Also if you would like to be on our mailing list for New Issues and updates etc just email us Subject Header: Feedback - Mailing List at present we email out to over 600 email addresses every time a new issue becomes available.

Virtu - Art - Exhibition - South West Cork Delights @ Doswell Gallery

Virtu - Art are pleased to announce an Exibition - South West Cork Delights @ Doswell Gallery The exhibition will run from St. Patricks Day, Wednesday 17th March until Monday 12th April.

Virtu - Art has prepared a page South West Cork Delights Here you will find a list of exhibiting artists and other information about this event.

The opening day will include ambient music played by well known traditional flute player Garry Walsh who will be playing a selection of West Cork tunes throughout the afternoon of the opening. We hope to engage the visitor to the exhibition visually and acoustically with a combination of sensory delights.

Press Release: West Cork Arts Centre, Sherkin Island Development Society Ltd. and the School of Art, Design and Printing at Dublin Institute of Technology are pleased to invite you to the BA in Visual Art Degree Show 2010 Lorraine Bacchus, Monica Boyle, Rebecca Keyser, Veronika O'Driscoll, Peggy Townend, Catherine Ryan and Alison Trim.

at West Cork Arts Centre The exhibition opens to the public on Saturday 6 February and runs to Saturday 13 March The Opening Event, with Brian Fay, Head of Fine Art, DIT takes place on Saturday 20 February at 3.00pm

Buying artwork on the internet is becoming the thing to do. You can sit in your home view artwork for as long as you like and when ready just press the Buy Now button.
