Artist Statement: I begin with a line on paper but thats not really the beginning...... before that
alone in her studio she works with clay making shapes and allowing her thoughts to drift into the subconscious. She then makes sketch
after sketch that act as inspiration for her final creations.
The titles of each piece is a vital part of the creation. they are often quirky words read in a book
or picked up and noted here and there, like the name of a town or village from a holiday somewhere or overheard snippets of conversation.
Some are even made up.
